Denver Academy of Torah's approach to general studies is both comprehensive and integrated. The school's strong language arts program is designed to build the skills that help each child become a life long reader; skills that enable them to decode words and decipher meaning. Fine-tuning a student's reading and writing skills is an integrated and coordinated effort that is implemented in every area of study across the general studies curriculum.

The mathematics program focuses on mastering traditional math concepts as well as on the practical application of math in daily life. Topics include number sense, computation, problem solving, algebra, geometry and statistics.

In science, hands-on learning is used to help students understand the world around them. Study areas include physical, chemical and life sciences, ecology and the environment.

The social studies program emphasizes history and geography, with subject matter designed to help students understand themselves and today's issues by examining history and other cultures.

In computer science, students receive training in all computer skills needed to successfully navigate in a technologically-based society. Computer skills are integrated into both general and Judaic studies.
Denver Academy of Torah is affiliated with the Association of Colorado Independent Schools (ACIS). The school is engaged in a rigorous, seven-year process for full ACIS accreditation.
