LeadershipStudents at DAT High School participate in leadership experiences throughout the year, in the classroom, as part of co-curricular activities, and in the community. We believe that leadership is a learned skill that only develops if nurtured and practiced. We also know that learning from successful leaders from Denver, the U.S., and Israel can serve to inspire and guide students. Our Lunch and Learn “Take a Stand” series enables students to hear directly from leaders about how they found causes about which they are passionate and worked to make a difference. Whether hearing about heading up the Orthodox Union, meeting with Refusniks in the former Soviet Union, or greeting Ethiopian Jews just getting off the planes in Israel, students learn what it means to lead from the heart and how to set themselves up for opportunities to make a difference in the future.
