A nonrefundable application fee of $100 per student must be submitted along with the application for new students. A $500 per family non-refundable deposit will be required for returning students. This payment will be applied toward the student's tuition charges. For returning families receiving tuition assistance, a deposit of 10% of the student's tuition will be required, not to exceed $500.

A $400 per student facility fee will be charged to all students in K-8th grade. A $450 security fee is assessed for all students K-12. Please note that tuition assistance may not be applied toward these per student fees.

All incoming 9th graders will have an additional $600 Israel immersion fee. The fee can either be paid out in full during the student's first year or payable over four years ($150 a year.) If a student withdraws, this fee must be paid in full.

Need-Based Scholarship:
As a Jewish school we believe strongly that every Jewish child deserves an excellent Jewish education.  We do our utmost to provide need-based scholarship  for qualified families in need while recognizing that lost tuition revenue dramatically impacts our budget and increases our fundraising needs. We value all of our families and our students regardless of ability to pay. The Scholarship process is built on mutual trust and an understanding that we all are committed to our children and our school.

The Board of Trustees of the Denver Academy of Torah has allocated a maximum of $750,000 to be awarded to families in need. Funds from the DAT Scholarship program are distributed only to families that truly qualify for assistance, as every dollar we give to families in need must be raised dollar-for-dollar  from generous donors.

Scholarships are granted through a methodical, transparent and systematic process taking into consideration each family’s specific financial circumstances. Award sizes vary based on family need and extenuating circumstances.  Families requiring the greatest amount of assistance must pay a minimum of $1,670 per child for K through 5th grade in addition to fees.  The tuition minimum for students in 6th- 8th grade is $2,575 per student in addition to fees.  The tuition minimum for 9th-12th grade is $5,150 per student per year in addition to fees. Tuition awards at this level are extremely limited and are only awarded to families demonstrating the greatest level of need, typically qualifying for the free or reduced lunch poverty standard.
