Mrs. Stroll holds a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from the University of Alberta and a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Administration from Concordia University. She began her teaching career in Canada and moved to Atlanta in 1997 to teach middle school English at Torah Day School of Atlanta. During her tenure in Atlanta, Mrs. Stroll studied in Maine with Nancy Atwell at the Center for Teaching and Learning and moved into a teacher leader role for reading and writing instruction in the middle school. She also attended Teacher’s College Reading and Writing Project at Columbia University to broaden her teacher leader role to include kindergarten through fifth grade. After receiving her graduate degree, she began her role as Assistant Principal at Torah Day School of Atlanta, where she served for three years. Mrs. Stroll and her family moved to Denver in the summer of 2016 for her to serve as the Lower School Principal at Denver Academy of Torah. Mrs. Stroll served as the K-12 principal during the 2018.2019 school year. She has now assumed the permanent role of Head of School this summer.
Mrs. Stroll has attended both of Harvard’s Graduate School of Education Principal Center programs. She has also participated in YOU Lead, a leadership development program through Yeshiva University; and the Head of School Professional Excellence Program (HOSPEP) through Prizmah. Currently, Mrs. Stroll is a participant in the Day School Leadership Training Institute. Mrs. Stroll’s youngest daughter attends DAT, her oldest daughter is a DAT graduate and is now in Israel with her two brothers.

Rabbi DanI RockofF

Rabbi Dani Rockoff and his family moved here this summer from Overland Park, KS, where he served as congregational Rabbi for Congregation BIAV since 2008. Rabbi Rockoff also served as Dean of the Matmidim Judaic Studies Program at the Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy. Previously, Rabbi Rockoff taught at the BiCultural Day School in Stamford, CT, and the Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School in Livingston, NJ.
Rabbi Rockoff received rabbinical ordination from RIETS at Yeshiva University, an M.S. in Jewish Education from the Azrieli Schoolof Jewish Education and Administration, and an M.A. in Bible at the Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies, and he recently completed his MPA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Rabbi Rockoff is married to Dr. Ayala Zoltan Rockoff, who will also be joining the DAT staff as a school psychologist. They have four children, Shai, David Aryeh, Ora (all beginning their first year at DAT), and Beni, a preschooler.
