The Camp Ma'ayan programming is designed to give each child opportunities to grow socially, emotionally, and spiritually. As partners in your child’s Jewish journey we are grateful for the opportunity to help shape the Jewish identity of the next generation of inspired leaders.

NEW! CIT Program

Join the Camp Maayan CIT (Counselor-In-Training) for students entering 6th-10th Grades. If you are entering 11th-12th Grade and are interested in being a counselor please contact the Camp Director.

The CIT Program is designed for teens and tweens who would like to further enhance their leadership skills, gain valuable hands on experience caring for children, and serve as a role model. CITs will assist full time counselors and take on certain responsibilities, including: dynamically interacting with the campers, facilitating games and projects, managing camper behavior, and actively participating in all camp activities. CITs will enjoy planned time together exploring different leadership styles, learning from each others’ experiences in an environment where they can grow creatively, and gain the extreme satisfaction that comes with being a role model and mentor to younger children.

CITs (entering 9th-10th Grade) will get to see what it is like to be a camp counselor, will be assigned to a bunk and will work closely with the camp counselors running various activities and games, and help supervise campers on field trips.

Jr CITs (entering 6th- 8th Grade), like CITs, will be assigned to a bunk and work closely with counselors running activities and games. On field trip days, Jr. CITs will have the opportunity to enjoy the field trip as “campers.”
